TERAGAMEZ ("the Company") respects the privacy of people who use "LYRA" (the "App") and complies with applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
At a glance
- No account and no Company server. There is no sign-up or login, and the Company does not collect your personal information or store it on a server.
- Your music library index, lyrics cache and settings are stored only on your device (SQLite) and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
- When the App looks up lyrics, the song title, artist, album and duration are sent to the open lyrics service LRCLIB (lrclib.net). Turn on "Wi-Fi only" in Settings to restrict this to Wi-Fi.
- There is an optional, one-time Remove ads in-app purchase. Apple and Google process the payment, and the Company never receives your card or payment details. Purchases are verified by the U.S. service provider RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. After purchase, ads are no longer shown.
- The App shows Google AdMob ads. Only non-personalized ads are requested, the App does not ask for iOS tracking permission (ATT), and it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Uninstalling the App deletes all data stored on the device.
1. Information processed only on your device
The following is stored only on your device and never sent to a Company server: the library index built from your music files (title, artist, album, duration, file location), play counts, favorites and playlists, fetched and self-edited lyrics, translation and pronunciation caches, sync offsets, and settings such as equalizer and theme. Music files themselves are only read, never uploaded. Translation and pronunciation are computed on the device.
The Company does not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and the App does not use the microphone permission.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
- The App shows Google AdMob banner ads. The Company requests non-personalized ads only.
- On iOS the App does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- To deliver ads, Google may process device and app information, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostics. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- You can further limit ad personalization in your device's advertising settings (for example the Android advertising ID settings).
- Once you complete the Remove ads in-app purchase, banner ads are no longer shown and no ads are requested.
4. In-app purchase (Remove ads)
- The App offers a one-time in-app purchase (product ID
lyra_remove_ads) that removes ads. It is optional, and the App remains free to use without it. - Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). The Company does not receive or store card numbers, payment methods, names or other payment details.
- Purchases are verified by our service provider RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). Without any login, the App sends RevenueCat a random anonymous user ID, purchase and receipt data (product, transaction IDs, store receipt or token, price and currency), device, OS and app version, IP address, and country and locale. RevenueCat validates the receipt with Apple or Google and tells the App whether the
no_adsentitlement is active. The Company runs no server of its own and receives nothing that identifies you, such as a name or email. - The App also keeps an "ads removed" flag on your device. Ownership is re-checked at launch, and ads return only if RevenueCat or the store successfully reports that you have no entitlement (for example after a refund). Network or server errors never bring ads back.
- If you reinstall the App or move to a new phone, use Settings → Remove ads → Restore purchases with the same store account.
- Purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies, and RevenueCat keeps purchase records tied to the anonymous ID under its own policy. See the Apple Privacy Policy, the Google Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
5. App permissions (Android)
- Read audio files: finds and plays music on your device and reads its tags.
- Notifications: shows playback controls in the status bar and lock screen.
- Display over other apps: shows the floating lyrics window, only if you turn it on.
- Modify audio settings: applies the equalizer.
- Foreground media service and wake lock: keeps music playing when the screen is off.
Information obtained through these permissions is used only on the device, as described in section 1.
6. Retention and deletion
The Company does not hold your personal information. Data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data in system settings. Information held by outside providers (LRCLIB, Apple, Google, RevenueCat), including purchase records, is governed by their own policies.
7. Sharing and international transfers
The Company does not sell or share your personal information with third parties. The transfers in section 2 occur directly between your device and the provider when you use the related feature (lyrics lookup, translation, ad display, in-app purchase), and the providers' servers may be located outside your country. If you do not want this, turn off online lyrics in Settings or do not use the feature.
In particular, if you use the Remove ads purchase, the data listed in section 2 is transferred to and processed by RevenueCat, Inc. in the United States as our service provider, over HTTPS. If you do not want this, do not use the in-app purchase.
8. Your rights
Because the Company holds no personal information about you on a server, you can access, correct or delete data on your device by clearing the App's data. To access or delete the records RevenueCat holds under your anonymous ID, email us below and we will pass the request on. For any other question or request, contact us below. Residents of the EU/UK may exercise rights under the GDPR, and California residents under the CCPA/CPRA. The Company does not sell personal information.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 14 (under 13 in some countries) and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
Requests to LRCLIB are sent over HTTPS. Because the Company runs no server for the App, there is no Company-held database of personal information. Purchase verification traffic also uses HTTPS.
